Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a multinational construction contracting company who specialize in the main fields of marine, dredging, oil and gas, power & water, infrastructure contractors, geotechnical and foundation engineering services are currently looking for an Interface Manager to join their Rail division.

- Assigns responsibilities within his team as he sees fit to ensure the best possible delivery of his responsibilities. The way he assigns them does not relieve him from his responsibility towards the Project Manager.
- Adjusts or changes his team to respond to the project milestones requirements or priorities and requirements asset by the project management.
- Manages his team in order to manage internal and external interfaces of projects in coordination with the Project Management and Construction Team.
- Coordinate with engineering during engineering phase of the project.
- Coordinate with procurement for engineering/procurement interfaces.
- Coordinate with client during construction phase to ensure that all the interfaces are approved in time to avoid any delays in construction due to interfaces.
- Contributes in client satisfaction by ensuring that their expectations are met.
- Plans, organizes and controls implementation of work towards the achievement of goals and objectives.
- Prevents work related conflicts and resolves them if they emerge.
- Ensures compliance with respective corporate policies and procedures and local laws and regulations.

- Complies with Corporate Governance rules, Company’s systems, Policies and Procedures as well as Project specific requirements.

Requirements

- About 15 years of experience on Industrial and or rail Projects in the field of Engineering and Construction.
- Should have Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Understating of the wide spectrum of various disciplines requirements (e.g. mechanical, process, electrical, civil, and rail) and the interface between them.
