Interior Designer cum Sales Developer

Job description / Role

A leading interior fit-outs company in Doha – Qatar is looking for energetic interior designers cum sales developers for its divisions:

- Kitchens/Wardrobes/Parquet & Furniture Division (Split Shift Schedule), the candidate should have involved in the design and sales of kitchens & wardrobes, furniture and Parquet
OR
- Gypsum, Ceiling, Walls, Wallpapers, Painting, Gold leaf Division (Straight Shift & Split Shift Schedule), the candidate should have involved in the design and sales of gypsum ceiling, false ceiling, wall partition, painting, cornice and wall papers
OR
- Carpet Tiles, Marble, Ceramic, Porcelain, Raised Floor & Stones Tiles Division (Straight Shift & Split Shift Schedule), the candidate should have involved in the design and sales of flooring tiles like Carpet, Marble, Ceramic, Porcelain, Raised Floor & Stones Tiles.

Responsibilities:
- Developing initial ideas and acquiring key information about potential projects, discussing requirements in detail with clients (the brief) and setting project schedules.
- Understanding individual clients' needs and the needs of the people, developing design concepts in consultation with the client and establishing final briefs.
- Considering materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiating project fees.
- Producing 'sample' or 'mood' boards for presentation to clients.
- Sourcing products and providing samples for clients.
- Preparing detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design software.
- Working in a team with other designers.
- Working closely with quantity surveyors to establish costs and work schedules on larger projects, with architects and other design professionals to determine the best use of space, and with manufacturers and contractors.
- Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry.
- Excellent preparation of products presentation skills as well as delivering good presentation and demonstration to the client and customers.

Requirements

- Interior Design degree or similar graduation qualifications.
- Good knowledge in AUTO CAD 2D/3D, 3D max, Photoshop.
- Knowledge and Experience of interior decoration projects.
- Good command in English & Arabic language.
- Ability to manage more projects at the same time and able to work under pressure.
- GCC experience is preferable.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in Interior Design.
