Job description / Role
A family run holding company based in Qatar, invested in High End Retail, Real Estate Development, Food and Beverages, Hospitality and FMCG’s, are currently seeking a new Internal Audit Manager. You will join as key individual in the Internal Audit team, and report directly to the Group General Manager of Internal Audit and manage varying numbers of people as required for individual projects.
Your experience with the Institute of Internal Auditors and International Accounting Standards will allow you to manage and develop the team you are in charge of as well as prove invaluable when assisting the Group GM of Internal Audit. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to; assisting with the preparation of the Annual Audit plan, reviewing and approving detailed audits completed by team members, carrying out in-depth audits across all functions within the Group and developing team members and ensuring their growth through professional qualifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Big 4 experience
- CA, CPA, CIA, ACA, CIMA, CISA or similar
- 8+ years’ experience
- Experience managing a team of Auditors
- Fluent English speaker
Preferred;
- Master’s Degree
- Big 4 and Family run Holding Company experience
- 10 + years’ experience
- Fluent Arabic speaker
Due to tight visa restrictions only candidates in Qatar with an NOC or candidates in the Americas/Europe will be considered for this opportunity.
