Job description / Role
Leap 29 are currently working with a Major Oil and Gas Company based in Qatar who are currently seeking an Internal Auditor who can prepare and implement a risk-based audit plan to asses and report on the company’s key operational and financial activities.
You will be reporting to the General Manager and the Audit Committee, you will be responsible for assessing risk factors to identify high risk areas within the organization, ensuring that detailed audit work is effectively focused on areas assessed as high risk. You will also be required to perform advanced, specialized and/or managerial auditing work in multiple disciplines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an internal auditor
- Experience in the chemicals industry, Oil and Gas Industry or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience interacting and presenting to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) etc.
- 3-5 years of people management experience
