Internal Auditor

Job description / Role

Join our client's team as an Internal Auditor and play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct entrance meetings at the beginning of each audit to establish objectives and expectations.
- Perform interviews, document reviews, and surveys to gather necessary information for audits.
- Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations based on independent judgment.
- Explain program steps, required documentation, and testing procedures as needed.
- Monitor day-to-day progress of assigned work to ensure timely completion.
- Review audit work papers, provide feedback, and ensure completion to satisfactory standards.

Requirements

- Assist consultants and external auditors in conducting planned audits in line with management objectives.
- Assemble draft audit reports and determine findings for inclusion or minor handling.
- Present audit findings at review meetings and draft local management responses in reports.
- Pursue professional development opportunities and share gained knowledge with colleagues.
