Job description / Role
- Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data;
- Analyzing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organization is positioned to deliver for investors;
- Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries;
- Considering how the economic implications of factors such as natural disasters, weather, wars, etc. might affect the performance of companies and funds;
- Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources;
- Financial modelling and projection;
- Drafting and writing research reports for fund manager or client use;
- Making recommendations, being able to position ideas and articulate to the fund manager about the risk or payoff for each recommendation;
- Ensuring that all compliance regulations are met.
- To coordinate and handle daily company debt and bank facilities a daily operations.
- Maintain financial compliance for debt-equity strategy.
- Budget preparation, analysis and reporting.
- To manage the treasury and funding requirements.
- Daily stock market analysis, valuation and reporting.
- Investment analysis and valuation.
- Financial and ratios analysis and recommendation.
- Prepare policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an investment or financial analyst.
- Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics.
- Strong numeric skills.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Degree in Investment or Finance, or related field.
- Excellent computer skills, including a proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in corporate finance or investment.
- The preferred candidate must have a project follow up strong experience in the Gulf countries, Qatar having 3 to 5 years’ experience will be preferred.
- Highly trustworthy, discreet and ethical.
