Job description / Role

Junior Storekeeper (Transportation Management) - Qatar Airways - Doha

You will be responsible in assisting the Lead Warehouse Officer in the daily preparation of materials to be staged for receiving, shipping, put away and bring down. The Junior Storekeeper is accountable for ensuring and maintaining accuracy at all times. You should also ensure that all material handling is performed in the safest and most effecient manner.

You will be checking for accuracy counts and damage against delivery notes and reporting any damage or discrepancies in counts to management. You will sort the material by description and condition in preparation for put away and arrange materials on pallets to ensure pallet loads are built in a safe and efficient manner for the same.

You will assist with cycle verifications of inventory within the warehouse during regular intervals. You will assist with the warehouse cleaning to ensure a safe workplace at all times. You will also assist Lift Truck operator with proper guiding techniques, expecially with put away and bring down operations. You will stag to seggregate the articles according to the movement, type and nature of materials being handled.

Requirements

You must hold minimum High School Certification (minimum 10 year compulsory education) with upto 2 years of job related experience. Basic Computer knowledge will be an advantage.

We are lookinig for someone who is self – disciplined, safety oriented and has proper material handling skills.
