Lead Corporate Service Officer - Asset Management - Qatar Airways - Doha

As a Lead Corporate Service Officer – Asset Management you will be responsible to manage the Financial and Non Financial Assets across Commercial & Residential Properties, prepare the policies and process for the management of assets, ensure compliance of Corporate policies and procedures related to asset management.

You will control the inventory of Qatar Airways and Land Lords assets for each building/apartment in the most optimum manner, ensure random audit checks are carried out at regular intervals, ensure all items are inventoried whilst taking over a new building and tagging each item, ensure the HATS (Halo Asset Tracking System) is updated and developed in line with the Company’s financial policies, ensure that the process is followed for disposal of assets and that all items are tagged and UIN (Unique Identification Numbers) are generated as per established process.

You will also liaise with the vendor to ensure proper understanding of the supply chain and the expected date of delivery, ensure sufficient stock is maintained to meet ad-hoc and urgent requirements. You should have a very clear understanding of accounting standards and create internal controls to manage assets. You have to ensure that the company’s financial policies and the department’s asset management ideology are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with excellent English language communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Accountancy or Business Administration with Finance specialization will be preferred.

You will have a minimum of 5 years job-related experience with a multinational organization. You should have thorough knowledge of managing Fixed Assets, advanced MS Excel skills and ability to operate work on ERP modules for asset management. Candidates with work experience in the Gulf countries and a valid Driving (LMV) license will be given consideration.
