Lead Ground Training & LMS Analyst - Qatar Airways - Doha

The Lead Ground Training and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Analyst is a specialist role which is responsible for analysis, trend monitoring and performance utilising the systems operational in Ground Training Department.

The main purpose of this position will be to ensure that business needs are translated into tangible specifications for further actions such as implementing changes or upgrades in the systems, with the focus being on the LMS. Tracking and analysing operational data will be a key task to ensure optimum performance in terms of the quality of training within the department.

This role will be based within our Flight Operations Division located in Doha , Qatar

Accountabilities:
- Coordinate will all stakeholders to gather business requirements for designing an analysis program
- Review and evaluate requirements of the stakeholders through analysis and suggest if the requirement should be undertaken
- Must perform business case analysis for all new system implementation to check on the impact of the change of operations
- Quantify and evaluate operational procedures and suggest ways of improving the procedures for enhanced productivity
- Propose a model for implementation of suggested improvements through use of various systems
- Prepare performance metrics for the department and make department aware of their metrics so that they are able to identify their areas for improvement.
- Extract reports in a timely manner
- Conduct checks to ensure LMS Courses to flight deck crew are assigned as per roster in AIMS
- Extensive other duties

Requirements

To be successful for this role you should be with at least 5 years of work experience in an analytical role, preferably with the majority of this experience being based within the analysis of performance management

You will be holding a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of a variety of IT systems is essential.

Excellent communication skills are required (fluent English written and spoken)

Moreover, to be successful in this role, you must possess proven and developed ability to apply initiative and problem solving skills to varied situations, with advanced skills in MS Office applications (particularly Excel, Access and Business); with eye for details, good comprehension, communication and presentation skills.

An understanding LMS processes, theories and methodologies would be of benefit.
