Lead Marketing Officer - Qatar Duty Free - Doha

In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the development and creation of integrated brand and product marketing programmes for Qatar Duty Free across all channels.

The marketing programmes include development of marketing communication materials, brand assets, trade collateral and advertising campaigns. The role is responsible for the successful execution of brand programmes and the integration of campaign elements across other Qatar Duty Free communication touch points such as the website and social media to ensure creative consistency in messaging.

The Marketing Officer will also have responsibility of supporting media buying and planning.


You will prepare project briefs for external agencies that clearly outline project background, objectives, market insights, target audience and timing. You will ensure quality control of assets and materials produced which includes proof reading, content clarity, compliance to brand guidelines (visual and tone of voice) and relevance to the project brief.

You must work closely with agencies, to develop original, engaging and compelling product marketing materials that are aligned to Qatar Duty Free brand positioning. You will be responsible for researching, analysing and interpreting data from various sources and keep abreast with market developments and trends, to develop original and compelling brand communication materials and to assist purchase decisions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in in Marketing or Communication or Advertising in addition to a Master’s Degree will be an advantage.

You will have a minimum of 5 years’ of marketing experience in a multinational corporate or creative agency with proven track record of managing brand and marketing campaigns.

Moreover, you must be fluent with excellent command in English and strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. With excellent communication, as is the ability to work effectively across the organisation in a multi-cultural environment.
