Lead Officer Midfield Property - Hamad International Airport - Doha

As the Lead Officer Midfield Property you will assist the Commercial team in managing Hamad International Airport’s vast support and ancillary real estate assets, including cargo and courier terminals, warehouses, maintenance hangars and other premises. You will play a key role in all aspects of the day-to-day operations including commercial business development, space allocation, property management and auditing but also tenant relationship management. In this context, you will closely coordinate with tenants such as internal group stakeholders, but also third parties (e.g. foreign airlines) and Government Agencies.

Being an integral part of HIA’s Commercial team, you will ensure that all commercial opportunities and property assets are fully maximized while raising the customer satisfaction bar and meeting tenant needs. In addition, you will also provide analytical support to HIA Management regarding the commercial airport development in the form of strategic revenue reports and allocation dashboards on a regular basis.

In addition, you will assist the respective manager within HIA’s Commercial team in all aspects of airport development planning to assure that operational and commercial needs of existing and future tenants in the support and ancillary facilities are met.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, majoring in economics, property management, marketing or other business affiliated discipline. You also must have at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the areas of commercial space management, business development, contract management or property management – preferable within the aviation and airport industry or with a large-scale infrastructure developer.

A marketing background and customer service attitude is essential for this role. Profound airport operations knowledge, with preferably practical experience at a major airport, and understanding of the aviation industry is a strong plus.
