Lead Training & Compliance Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

Reporting to the Manager Cargo Training and Compliance, you will be responsible for conducting and evaluating cargo training courses to familiarize the staff with the scope and activities of cargo as well as improve individual performance and productivity.

You will have overall responsibility to manage/administer and develop the training and regulatory compliance requirements and ensure conformity across the QR Cargo network organisation for staff at all levels.

Main Duties include:
- Manage Cargo training standardisation to ensure training is given in compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards and commercial needs.
- Liaise with L&D department in the designing and development of training programs.
- Take corrective action for audit findings related to training.
- Manage database of training records for HO and outstation staff.
- Assist Training Manager in developing the training plan.
- Design and create course content and curriculum when required.
- You will need to present information using a variety of instructional techniques of formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
- You will also be required to manage the training programs including documentation and reporting of training delivery activities.

Requirements

You will need to hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent thereof and have a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience within the Aviation sector, ideally in Air Cargo.

You will need to have well developed interpersonal skills and should have experience in training in a multicultural environment.

You will need to be DG CAT 6 certified trainer.

Excellent written and oral English communication is a must as well as your strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and computer applications. You will also have good planning, be exceptionally organized and possess dynamic presentation skills.

You will be able to work with minimum supervision, and able to work long hours/shifts as required by management.
