Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of effective performance management policies, processes and systems for the Company.
- Supports and manages all phases of the Performance Management cycle (planning, review and appraisal)
- Analyses and publishes periodic internal reports on performance management practices and processes.
- Supports the Performance Improvement process for employees who are underperforming in their current roles by ensuring that Performance Improvement Plans are in place, and well tracked.
- Investigates root cause where underperforming employees are not tracking well in relation to their Performance Improvement Plans, and takes appropriate action.
- Ensures that Development Plans are in place, well tracked and updated as necessary for all Qatari Nationals. Including Post holders, Graduate Developees and Trainees.

- Supports Line Managers and employees with their development plans.
- Participates in the development of the Annual Training Plan to address skills gaps and identified training needs, with specific focus on Qatari Nationals.
- Participates in in-house and external training services to meet Company training and development requirements.
- Identifies suitable training providers available, both locally and overseas, in order to deliver training objectives in line with management’s requirements and coordinates the training delivery process to ensure achieving training goals.
- Contributes to the succession planning of the Company by ensuring and advising the appropriate procedures to identify and develop high-[potential individuals amongst the Company’s Qatari employees.
- Supports the Career Development Planning process, and advises the appropriate development actions to be taken to develop Qatari Nationals towards senior roles, as well as ensures that CDP’s are in place for all Qatari Nationals.
- Assist in developing and implementing a Mentoring and Coaching Programme for all Qatari Nationals, including Postholders, Graduate Developees and Trainiees. Once implemented, tracks and reports on the progress and success of these programmes.
- Designs, develops and implements talent programs for “young” Qatari talent.
- Manages and successfully implements student’s sponsorships.
- Handles all internal and external reporting related to Qatarization.
- Assists in the preparation of the L&D section’s budget, internal controls and procedures, as well as conducts special studies and prepares reports as required.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the Leaning & Development Section Head.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Human Resources or any other related field.
- 5 years of HR experience in a multicultural environment, specializing in Leaning and Development and / or Talent Development and/or Qatarization (National Development).
- 3 years hands on experience of the full ADDIE cycle in a Leaning and Development section or department.
- Middle East experience is essential.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Excellent Business communication skills both oral and written.
- Knowledge of Learning and Development principles and best practices.
- Attention to Details / Concern for Order and Quality
- Networking and relationship –building skills.
