Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of the top 10 professional services / management consultants offering corporate finance, consulting, advisory, tax, audit, assurance and legal services. Our client is looking to hire a professional and corporate bilingual (Arabic / English) in-house Legal Consultant / Advisor to work within an expanding team providing advice to their public and private corporate clients.
You will be responsible for delivering key legal advice and a superior service. You will further develop the business and current service-lines such as banking, financial services, employment, HR, general corporate, commercial and legal compliance within the Qatar legal framework in line with the international corporate strategy.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a law Degree coupled with an understanding of fiscal, corporate / commercial, labour / employment and civil laws ideally within Qatar or the GCC. You should have experience and a proven ability in business development and client servicing within a professional services / Big 4 consultancy environment. It is essential you are highly knowledgeable and presentable with strong personal and professional ethics. You should also be a driven and passionate problem solver.
In addition, you should possess excellent project management abilities and a solid skills set as well as business acumen, common sense and exceptional client relationship building skills. A desire to learn and advance within the professional services sector in an organisation offering a long-term career would be highly advantageous. Outstanding communication skills in both Arabic and English are crucial for this role.
