Employment: Full Time

A reputable multinational Law Firm is currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary. This position will be based in Doha, Qatar.

Purpose of role: To provide secretarial and administrative services for one or more Fee-earners. Performs a range of administrative and secretarial duties.

Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and take messages when required. Forwarding messages in a timely manner.
- Accurately types amended agreements and correspondence by the Fee-earner.
- Checks own work for correct use of punctuation and grammar.
- Composes, types and sends out letter / e-mails with the approval of the Fee-earner if client related.
- Maintains the diary, arrange appointments, meetings and travel as directed by the Fee-earner.
- Prepares and assembles bibles or documents for client meetings.
- Performs a variety of administrative routines and ad-hoc work within the general guidelines, as directed by the Fee-earner.
- Creates and maintains effective filing systems where the information could be of a highly sensitive/confidential nature.
- Assist Fee-earners in entering their time accurately.
- Coordinating with Accounts and Fee-earners in sending invoices to clients by drafting cover letters and ensuring invoices are billed correctly and sending to the clients.
- General day-to-day secretarial duties.

Requirements

- Minimum High School Diploma
- 2+ years as a Secretary preferable with Legal background

Skills:
- Able to multi-task efficiently
- Good organization skills
- Excellent Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, internet, etc)
- Audio typing skills

Languages: English

- Relishes a challenge
- Relates well with others at all levels
