Logistics Manager

Job description / Role

An exciting and highly challenging opportunity has recently opened within a multinational FMCG business. They are currently looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join their growing team in Qatar.

As the Country Logistics Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement logistics standard procedures along with the Warehouse Supervisors and Site Operations Leaders
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain department in fulfilling the logistics requirements within the business
- Overseeing the implementation of all logistics related projects
- Set standards and implement best practices in logistics standard procedures and aim to be a benchmark in distribution efficiency and service level

Requirements

- University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or any Business course
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in logistics operations and customs management
- Strong Organizational and Planning skills
- Knowledge and working experience in SAP/ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Exceptional people and project management skills
- Verbal and written skills in Arabic and English
