Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: We are looking for a senior Logistics Manager to join our head office team. You will be responsible for setting up, leading, defining and delivering excellence in logistics operations with attention to in-house retail warehousing and distribution.

Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deliver logistics processes and strategies using best practise for Al Mana's core operations
- Responsible for end to end project delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Analysis of shipments and stock levels to ensure optimal product supply is achieved
- Develop and maintain vendor relationship to allow efficiencies
- Accountable for negotiating vendor contracts and terms of engagement
- Devise and support logistics solutions related to retail operations
- Create supply and demand model initiatives to cater for operations and facilitate business requirements in relation to logistics processes
- Analyse current processes to allow cost reduction initiatives to be implemented through integration models
- Define and agree logistics road maps to support current and future requirements of the business to reflect growth plans
- Responsible for distribution centre set up, retail reverse logistics and direct to consumer fulfilment
- Liaise with the commercial team and relevant business leads in light of commercial agreements including any warehouse costs etc
- Preparation of forecasts for senior management to aid in development of process for set business divisions
- Work alongside HR function to recruit, train and manage a team of logistics staff
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance measure are adhered to
- Identify and implement best in class technology and infrastructure suitable to the cope and size of the business along with disciplines that underlie logistics and supply chain operations
- Develop and implement distribution best practises such as system integration and optimisation, inventory control and demand planning

Reporting to: Managing Director
Travel requirements: Occasional travel across the GCC

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant field
- Must possess a minimum of 8 years experience in Retail Logistics
