Reporting to Senior Manager: Management Consulting.

OUR CLIENT’s Management Consulting team delivers a range of advisory services to meet the business needs of clients, including Process management, Performance Improvement, People and HR, Strategy and Feasibility studies.

These services are provided to clients predominantly in Qatar. Travel to client sites may be required. We are looking for ambitious and capable professionals that want a challenging career working in Qatar in the Management Consulting team.

Each new team member will be given initial training in the OUR CLIENT’s Way and their values and specific training to equip them for their role within each of the advisory functions and lines of business.

Responsibilities:
- Delivery of client work
- For this role we require candidates to have proven analytical and process skills that can be used to deliver varying types of People and Change client assignment. The ability to work as part of a delivery-oriented team and ensure the submission of high-quality deliverables to clients within deadlines is a must. Examples of typical work include:
- Business process analysis and documentation including preparation of high level maps, standard operating procedures and manuals
- Detailed feasibility studies and expansion strategy development
- Operating model design
- Business performance improvement and financial analysis

Proposal and bid support
- Individuals will be expected to support the development of proposals and client presentations and competitive bids for new work. This will include undertaking focused research, ongoing liaison and interaction as part of a proposal/bid team and preparation of output to a high standard in Powerpoint and Word.

Practice management:
- We encourage all team members to involve themselves in supporting the practice. This may include service and product development, knowledge management or recruitment for the team.

Requirements

Individuals must have 6-8 years relevant experience in industry and/or consulting in either business services or other industrial sectors

We require candidates to have:
- Financial management processes in complex organisations
- Supply chain management and procurement
- Business process management
- Strategic planning and budgeting
- Project and program management
- Analytical and process skills that can be used to deliver varying types of client assignment
- Good working knowledge of the dynamics and trends in relevant industry sectors (Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, Real Estate, Small and Medium Enterprises, Telecommunications and other business services)
- Knowledge of and experience in government and public sector would be advantageous
- demonstrable success in delivering projects
- Track record of managing and getting the best from teams

Other skills/competencies:
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Spoken and written Arabic an advantage

Educated to degree level, Finance or Accounting qualification CA/ACCA/CPA and/or MBA (Finance)
