Manager Cargo Contracts Management & Control - Qatar Airways - Doha

As the Manager Cargo contracts you will have the holistic responsibility for the contracting process by pre and post aware. You will be involved in establishing contracting policies that support business requirements and business strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
- Contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution to ensure optimum benefits to Qatar Airways (QR) Cargo's business objectives and targets.
- Act as the point of contact between QR Cargo and customers or service providers
- Provide guidance on on contract matters, contracting practices and procedures to all operational staff, including basic training to equip staff with contract knowledge
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
- Support Sales, Product Management and Marketing to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate competitive terms and conditions
- Evaluate and finalise Non Disclosure Agreements, Sales, Services, Purchase Agreements and Sub Contracts ensuring compliance to established corporate policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

You will have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study. Further qualification within Corporate Law or Commercial Law may provide an advantage.

You will have experience of heading up an internal contract department, including:
- Leading a team of contract specialists
- Mentoring and Coaching your team
- Experience of negotiating multi million dollar contracts
- Facing of to key customers and stakeholders at all levels
- Championing new and key company wide initiatives
- More than 8 years of industry and technical experience.
