Manager Cargo Safety - Qatar Airways - Doha

As the Manager Safety will require to develop, manage and deliver the Cargo Operations Support Model through delivery of an assurance programme that provides oversight capability and a regular quality auditing schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency and standards for Cargo Operations Network wide; plan, initiate and track the Operations assurance and audit program using a risk based methodology; monitor service, Quality, compliance deficiencies and data trends and develop and deliver associated reporting systems; monitor regulatory compliance is maintained in relation to aviation industry practices and Qatar Airways procedures.

You will be involved with devising Operation and Safety strategies for operations, personnel, in line with procedure of quality, safety and compliance, while continuously researching and recommending the implementation of new regulations

Requirements

To be successful, you will have a minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent thereof, with a minimum of 7 years of Cargo Safety management, compliance and preventative measures experience. You must have proven expertise in ensuring compliance and Safety standards for a large Airline Cargo operations. You will be up to date with all necessary regulations.

The ability to review, improve, revise and implement new processes and procedures should come naturally to you. You must be a very strong communicator, have a passion for Cargo security, and have the ability to work with several key stakeholders simultaneously.
