Manager Safety & Security (Retail) - Qatar Duty Free - Doha

As a vital member of the QDF Management team, you will ensure that the Operations are run smoothly, in a cost effective manner; conforming to all safety and security requirements. You will ensure customers are provided with 5 Star service, thus creating a competitive advantage for QDF in travel retail products and services. Act as a reference point and source of expertise for others both inside and outside the organisation. Have oversight of approximately 25,000 square metres of travel retail space.

You will review incidents with CCTV operators, participate in official stock takes, ensure all shop staff conform to company security regulations. You will remain alert to any breach of company security procedures, and ensure all stock and cash transactions conform to company and security standards.

Requirements

You will have a minimum Bachelor’s degree; financial knowledge of Cash handling, banking and working with budgets. You will be proficient with MS Office and other retail IT systems. You will have a minimum 7 years of relevant experience within a Retail & Warehouse capacity for a Middle East, Duty Free or International outfit. You will also have ability to delegate work; set clear direction; manage workflows whilst having the ability to train and develop a team.
