Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Marketing Coordinator

This position is responsible for a multi-tasker who is able to work independently, and creatively and support a wide range of programs, events, projects, and marketing channels to enhance the satisfaction of the clients.

What you will be doing:

- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Attend events and produce live social media content.
- Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create a social media calendar.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends. Interact with users and respond to social media messages,
- Executing, and tracking marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
- Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
- Conduct market research and identify trends

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Degree in Marketing Management or Business Management
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator
- Outstanding writing, editing and oral communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus point).
- Ability to prioritize, and organize work assignments.
- Remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult situations.
- Able to work flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
- Can promote positive relationships with the team.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant accounting systems
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
