Vita Coco is looking for a bright and energetic marketing intern to join our team and support our marketing activity across Qatar. Our perfect nut is hard to crack, willing to fall the extra distance, gets stuck in both strategically and tactically, has a strong network, and the personality to build the next big beverage brand in Qatar.

IN A NUTSHELL YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Managing Vita Coco’s Social Media Handles in Qatar
- Running our influencer seeding program, targeting individuals, offices and events.
- Bringing the brand to life through event activations. Identifying events for us to activate at and building a Brand Educator Team that could sample at these events.
- In-store sampling – activating in-store samplings and building a Brand Educator Team that could sample in-store.
- Identifying key partnerships for the Vita Coco brand, managing and executing these partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social:
- Social media management. Posting on all channels using content created and provided by the EMEA team and managing conversation.
- Amplifying all seedings and events on social.
- Running consumer competitions on social media.

Influencer Program:
- Seeding a set amount of individuals a month within our target consumer.
- Running office drop campaigns to influential offices in Qatar.
- Identifying events each month for us to send product to.

Brand Educators for In-store Samplings and Events:
- Hire, train, motivate, inspire and lead a team of Brand Educators responsible for educating consumers on the functional benefits, delivering Vita Coco experiences, and activating events in the local markets.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate consumer and trade sampling activity.
- Provide monthly report on all activations.

Events:
- Identify key events in our four strategic areas of sport and fitness/music/fashion for the Vita Coco brands to support or be present at that are reflective of the Vita Coco brand values and deliver an authentic message to the consumer.
- In conjunction with the Brand Educator Team, manage all related event logistics to maximize the opportunity and create buzz for the Vita Coco brand.
- Provide feedback on event activations.

Shopper Marketing:
- Ensure Vita Coco Qatar is always stocked with Point of Sales Materials.
- Help activate in-store branding opportunities .
- In-store sampling: assist with the organization and activation of in-store sampling, including management of any Brand Educators.

Relationship Building:
- Entrench yourself and Vita Coco (through influencer marketing) in relevant grassroots sport and cultural scenes (music, fashion, tv and film) that impact key targeted consumers by building relationships with market influencers, ultimately leading to increased brand visibility and opportunities for the brand.

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training abilities
- English and Arabic language skills

About the Company

Ten years ago, during a casual outing to a New York City bar, childhood friends Mike Kirban and Ira Liran met two young women from Brazil.

Shortly after that night, Ira hopped on a plane to Brazil to see one of the girls and learned that the coconut water hype was real. When Mike came to visit a few months later, they got down to business with a plan to bring coconut water to the US.
