Marketing Manager - Qatar Aircraft Catering Company - Qatar - Doha


To conceptualise, plan, supervise and execute all marketing and corporate communication activities of Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) premises. This role will lead, guide and extract the best practices from the support staff in order to deliver efficiently all the relevant communications (internal and external) that will assist the Senior Management in achieving the established sales budgets.

To be effective in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelors degree combined with a minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role with exposure to brand or trade marketing. You will need proven capability in campaign development and management and must have prior exposure to PR/loyalty/Event/Market Research management.

An excellent understanding of marketing concepts, media planning and ATL/BTL activities is required. You will need to be fluent (written and oral) in English to perform this role.

Requirements

Operational
- Be responsible for the strategic planning including corporate positioning, customer segment selection and geographical allocation of marketing budgets to penetrate existing markets and develop growth markets
- Produce annual promotional budget/ calendar for the business ensuring maximum utilisation of budgets and fair allocation of space /time between vendors
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to drive business opportunities and identify areas for growth and product development

Reporting
- Timely submission of monthly management reports
- Computing comprehensive all promotional reports and management reports
- Identifying new systems and avenues to facilitate and promote the business

Management & Leadership
- Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives
- Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures, and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed

Development
- Train Qatari staff in the duties above
- Perform other department duties related to his/ her position as directed by the head of the department
