Master Technician - Controls Engineer - FAMCO - Doha, Qatar

As a Controls Engineer you will be reporting to the Branch Manager.

You responsibility will include to produce consistently high quality of work to ensure excellent levels of customer service satisfaction. As work is field based so self-motivation and flexibility is vital. High level experience on multi units/synchronization and load sharing operation is required.

You should be able to diagnose faults in handling products like Himoinsa Generators from 16kVA – 2,000kVA, along with other OEM Diesel-powered Generator Sets, plus lighting towers, control systems and accessories and to recommend effective repair solutions. Upgrading/ programming of DG set controllers, overhauling, rebuilding of DG sets will be part of your job.

You will also be responsible to train on job customers. You should have knowledge of stock maintenance and pre delivery inspection of DG sets, along with their maintaining service and repair records.

Requirements

Ideally you should be electrically qualified, along with 10 years of experience on controls and repair of power generators.

Job-Specific Skills: Excellent electrical – mechanical and controls experience plus a driving license
