Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Job description / Role

Due to an expanding workload, we are seeking two Experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineers to join our client in Qatar. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for the testing and commissioning of mechanical services throughout the facility and experience of working within buildings services projects is essential for the role. The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will be expected to have over 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

THE ROLE
- Testing and commissioning of all mechanical building services
- Ensuring a safe and working environment and operating to site HSE requirements
- Completing commissioning reports and risk assessments
- To document commissioning progress, site reports and assist with O & M manuals.
- To prepare systems for handover to the client
- To aid supervision of the installation and liaison with contractors
- Demonstrate ownership of the commissioning phase of the project and proactive resolution of problems.
- Liaise with the Commissioning Manager, identify and feedback any issues and proactively work towards solutions

Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Ability to ‘think on your feet’, work safely and work well as part of a time
- Sound technical knowledge
- Five years + experience in mechanical installations and commissioning within the built environment
- Positive and solutions oriented approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Remuneration: Basic salary + accommodation + transportation + living allowance

Working hours - 60hours per week.
