Job description / Role
As part of a 900 Million QAR project our client has the requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer to be based in Qatar.
The project itself is composed of a number of high rise buildings and our client is operating as the main contractor for the project.
This development has a 2 year scheduled completion plan.
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 10 years’ experience in MEP
- Must be experienced in design of Commercial & Residential buildings, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems and supervises a team of Mechanical Draughtsmen.
- Experience with coordinated shop drawings of mechanical systems as well as electrical systems,prepare all system details such as schematics, calculations, schedules.
- Good Knowledge in ASHREA, NFPA, Civil defence requirements, International Plumbing Code, National Plumbing Codes.
- AutoCAD experience
Desirable Skills:
- UPDA and QCDD certificate required.
