MEP Quantity Surveyor - Location Doha - Duration Permanent
Our client requires an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to work on the Quantity Surveying, you will lead the pre and post contract commercial activity relating to all MEP packages for a major project in the UAE. The key responsibilities of the role will be to lead the interim payment process to contractors raise and authorise contract variation documentation monthly cost reporting and budgeting and to supervise and tale responsibility for re-measurements of the works.
The company concerned are one of the Middle East`s largest MEP Consultancy`s, with an enviable project portfolio. They have been established in the region for over 3 decades, with offices in Dubai, Doha and the UK, delivering some of the largest and most innovative projects in the world.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the MEP Building services industry, holding the position of MEP Quantity Surveyor on major MEP construction projects.
- Proven background in working in commercial teams within MEP subcontracting organisations.
- Experience using FIDIC forms of contract is essential
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with previous client facing experience.
