Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Merchandise Associate - Waterpark

Merchandise associate is responsible to maintain and organize the store front by stocking shelves, arranging merchandise in an appealing manner, and building product displays to create a smooth shopping experience. Merchandise associate also interact with customers and assist with any tasks on the sales floor.

What you will be doing:

- Handles customer concerns and inquiries
- Attends the cash register as needed
- Coordinates with co-workers for smooth operations
- Providing outstanding customer experiences
- Receiving new merchandise and stocking shelves on the sales floor.
- Restocking and neatly repacking unsold items onto shelves
- Preparing merchandise for purchase by entering items into store inventory and applying sales tags
- Assembling product displays, dressing mannequins, and arranging merchandise in store front windows
- Promoting a positive store culture
- To ensure that all company's Merchandising Directives are being adhered to.
- Ensuring that product prices are clearly marked and that items are properly displayed.
- Monitor everyday sales and the monthly physical inventory count.
- To analyze sales and inventory data to determine consumer preferences to optimize opportunities.
- Observes safety and security procedures. Reports any misuse or theft of stock to merchandise supervisor.
- Assist in sales events, trade shows, marketing campaigns and other product promotional activities.
- To ensure outstanding presentation and visual merchandising standards are always maintained. Ensure the shop is tidy, clean, and full at the end of the day.
- Provide updates to the business by communicating to the Management team.
- Ensure compliance with processes that remain efficient, effective, and streamlined
- To ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- A high school diplomas.
- Previous experience in retail, water park.
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Arabic Speaker
- Good standard of numerical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Customer focused with ability to objectively assess opportunities and adjust to customer changing needs
- Able to exercise good judgment with difficult guests.
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- A team player
- Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions quickly
