Job description / Role
Our client a leading bank in Qatar is looking for a senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Financial Analysis and MIS reporting across the groups entities.
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- MIS reporting and financial control
- Identifying risk
- Developing financial models
- Prepare consolidated Financial statements and analysis
- Set appropriate KPIs to monitor business performance
- Provide guidance and advice around mergers, acquisitions and investments
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Analyze investments and new products
- Ensure all reporting is in accordance with IFRS and other regulatory reporting standards
Requirements
- Candidates must have an in depth understanding of finance and risk processes and controls.
- Candidates with a professional accounting qualification are preferred CPA, CA, CMA etc.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with a leading bank is essential.
