Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World <br><br>MRAP Material Control Specialist (IMDS)<br><br>The MRAP Material Controller (IMDS) c oordinates with site supply and Superintendent to develop schedules and plans required to maintain assigned MRAP Fleet. Primary point of contact for all MRAP/IMDS related shop supply transactions. Reviews and documents MRAP supply activities in IMDS. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).<br><br>Principal Accountabilities <br>- Assists in managing the department's Hazardous Material (HAZMAT)/Environmental Safety & Health programs in accordance with (IAW) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work instructions (WI), established guidance and HAZMAT directives. <br>- Performs Equipment Custodian duties for all assigned MRAP if necessary. <br>- Reviews Standard Base Supply System (SBSS)/DI supply documents to verify status of parts. <br>- Submits the Local Purchase (LP) supply documents to procure items such as test/shop equipment, and consumable items. <br>- Reviews and inventories Organizational Equipment Lists (OEL), calibration lists, and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL). <br>- Monitors monthly SBSS produced D04, C49's, D-18, and M14 listing for status of equipment and parts. <br>- Monitor the Delayed Maintenance (PCN15) Report and perform monthly reconciliation with Superintendent/Supervisor as required. <br>- Prepares and submits quality/material deficiency reports and Technical Order (TO) changes are required. <br>- Inspects hazardous materials within the assigned work center and coordinates with the appropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT when required. <br>- Stocks, maintains and requisitions parts, tools and supplies to perform required work on assets. <br>- Responsible for MRAP Shop Stock and Bin location programs. <br>- Responsible for the inspection, inventory and accountability of Other Vehicle Equipment (OVE) and replacement glass programs. <br>- Assists in supporting special tools, shop stock, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), safety and environmental shop functions. <br>- Initiate cannibalization (AF Form 1832) request if necessary. <br>- Operates material handling equipment as required. <br>- Assists in the preparation of vehicles/equipment for air/land/sea movement as required. <br>- Provides assistance and train other workers in IMDS as required for IMDS transactions. <br>- Performs other duties as assigned. <br>- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods. <br><br>Minimum Requirements: <br>- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs. <br>- Knowledge of IMDS to include scheduling, supply transactions and daily documentation highly preferred. <br>- Previous experience as Equipment Custodian preferred. <br>- Knowledge of Federal Catalog System (FEDLOG) and Web FLIS parts research processes preferred. <br>- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license. <br>- High School diploma or equivalent required. <br>- Minimum three years of experience with the US Air Force or civilian organization in the field of vehicle support equipment maintenance required. <br>- Must have previous Support Section experience in a maintenance environment. <br>- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment. <br>- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed. <br>- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment. <br>- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. <br>- Must have a current U.S. Passport. <br><br>Preferred Qualifications: <br>- Knowledge of Microsoft Project is desirable. <br>- Prefer knowledge of Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) for management of department TOs. <br><br>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
