QNB Group, one of the World's Strongest Banks and the leading bank in the Middle East and North Africa, is seeking a Officer Issuance for the further expansion of the office in Doha.

The total number of staff is more than 14,500 operating from over 615 locations.The incumbent will perform tasks pertaining to the timely issuance of import L/Cs in a way that supports the business units and ensures a good working relationship with the Group's clients.

Requirements

You will be responsible for handling complex processes relating to Import Letters of Credit in strict compliance with International Chamber of Commerce Rules and ensure work accomplishment.

You will receive and review Import Letters of Credit applications of special terms and conditions from clients to ensure receipt of complete transactions.

You will issue certain Letters of Credit which include special terms and conditions such as Revolving, Back-to Back, transferable and Stand-by L/C's.

You will check documents, note discrepancies, communicate with negotiating Banks, to safeguard QNB position.

You will ensure transaction documentation passed for authorization is error free and timely and deal with clients and ensure that routine operational issues are processed expeditiously.

You will ensure that L/C opener has a valid commercial registration and that the terms and conditions are clear and precise.

You will ensure that the amount of the LC does not exceed the maximum amount permitted by the application signed by the customer.

You will maintain the L/C documents safely and ensure adherence to the limits set up for each client/ bank.The successful candidate will be a Bachelor degree holder and have a minimum of 4 years' experience in Foreign Trade Operations.
