Job description / Role
Guildhall is working with a holding company who has a diversified portfolio of retail, hospitality and F&B developments in Doha, Qatar.
We are looking for an Operations Director with exposure across these sectors who can come on board in a brand new position which will oversee operations across these business units.
The role will require candidates to:
• Ensure highest standards in line with the mission statement and values
• Assure operations adhere to strict standards in safety
• Represent the company in community involvement, promotional, social and seasonal events
• Reviewing sales reports for maximizing the sales and meeting profit and financial expectations
• To support the Retail Manager, Hospitality Manager & F&B Manager in developing new and existing accounts in order to meet/ exceed revenue goals
• Oversight of administrative functions
• Streamline departments and analyse performance
Requirements
• 10 to 15 years of related experience in Luxury Hospitality, Retail and Fine Dining Restaurants
• Experience in managing high sales volume, multi-store retail/ F&B operations, development and operations
• Degree in hotel management, logistics, supply chain management, operations management or equivalent
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, MIS, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English
