Job description / Role
Our company is seeking to hire an operations manager to ensure efficiency, work with a range of stakeholders and team members to streamline projects and bring them to fruition. The candidate is expected to be a natural leader with a knack for organizing resources and execute action plans.
Responsibilities
• Identify opportunities to expand, formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless business execution
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing
• Facilitate best practices for projects, workflows, and rollout of creative resources
• Lead negotiation with vendors, assess and analyze budgets to optimize profits
• Establish professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors
• Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Maintain accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities.
Requirements
• Successful candidates will have a relevant degree for the position such as Bachelor's in Business, Management, Business Administration or similar fields.
• Master’s in Business, MBA, will be preferred.
• Candidates will be expected to have a sharp business mind and proven success in organization and execution of projects.
• Solid understanding of finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
• Prior experience in creative business would be advantageous.
Required experience
• Previous experience in a similar or identical role would be required.
Required Skills
• Candidates should have good management and communication skills, ability to execute projects, develop strategies and manage operating budgets are expected.
• Organization and decision-making skills are essential assets.
