Operations Manager - Infrastructure

Client are an international engineering consultant who are looking for an Operations Manager to be responsible for operations management of several project sites.

The successful candidate will manage all operational aspects of executing the programme management consultant role on a major programme of infrastructure development works in Qatar. This is one of the biggest programmes of infrastructure in the world and is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to take the next step in their career with a world renowned engineering company.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to management and support of the Logistics and Asset Management and Operations Teams, ensuring that the project goals and schedule are understood and delivered. As well as manage the delivery of all construction, logistics and permitting, commissioning and handover activities.

Requirements

- BSc Civil Engineering or related subject
- 20 + years post graduate experience
- Chartered status is desirable
- Knowledge of all operational aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities with experience in project management, construction practice and delivery of complex major projects
- Fluency in English language both written and spoken is a must
- Previous Middle East experience
- Stable employment history
- Previously worked on mega projects with international companies
