Operations Manager - Qatar - Urgent
This highly regarded company has an immediate vacancy for an experienced, Chartered, Project Director in Qatar.
They are offering an opportunity for a commercially astute Construction industry expert with a proven track record of Managing Operations and Delivering on Roads and Highways Projects in an International Environment.
You will be responsible for managing all Operational aspects of execution on a major Programme of infrastructure development works. This will include managing teams that are focused on Logistics, Operations and Asset Management to ensure that they deliver on their project goals.
Whilst based in Doha, Qatar, you will be committed to making regular trips to project sites to interface with all relevant parties.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, establish and execute the Operations Strategy, Standard Policies and Best Practise.
- Managing all operational activities that work towards Project Delivery in key areas such as Budget, Quality and Schedule.
- Liaise with the Engineering Team to assist the development of Design Solutions
- Report on performance of Contractors and Key Construction Supervisors
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have a degree educated background in Civils, and solid experience of all Operational elements of a major Civils or Infrastructure Project to include work on Bridges, Roads and all associated Utilities.
Your experience will extend to Delivery on a Major Complex Infrastructure or Civils Project.
- A Civil Engineering degree(or related degree)
- +20 years` relevant Post Graduate experience
- Highly experienced in Highways and Roads construction
- Chartered Status eg MICE or equivalent
- Experience of Managing large teams.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal English Language
- Very strong with MS Office
Most essential will be 20 years\` post-graduate experience on relevant projects, and Chartered Status, eg MICE - which is non-negotiable.
This senior position will offer a package in the region of:
QAR 900,000 - QAR 950,000 with a car and additional benefits
