Charterhouse is working with a prestigious international organisation which are looking to hire a Partnership Manager to join their team in Qatar. Candidates who have a background in business development, consulting or learning and development within the professional services industry are encouraged to apply.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a well-established team, in a commercially driven environment. You will be trusted to nurture and foster strategic partnerships with key clients, providing a consultative service to understand clients’ needs and propose tailored solutions which result in confirmed business and increased revenue. This role will work closely alongside the director of partnerships and will be trusted with a large amount of autonomy to take ownership for devising successful sales strategies and proposals to cross sell solutions for existing accounts whilst also working to identify and convert new business leads. A huge percentage of this role will involve presenting to C level Executives, senior stakeholders and partners therefore the successful candidate must have excellent presentation and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to influence decision makers and successfully overcome objections with a solution led approach. In addition there will be a lot of research involved to stay up to date with the latest market trends, as well as networking with potential clients and partners by attending industry relevant events and seminars. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of business acumen, working to strict KPIs and objectives, managing the sales cycle from pitch conception to closing the sale and negotiating contractual agreements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must hold a MBA or equivalent in business or related field with a minimum of 10 years’ professional experience, preferably in business development, consultative sales, consulting or L&D. You will have a high degree of commercial acumen, solution driven approach, and ability to work well under pressure, delivering to strict deadlines. There may be the need to work outside of core business hours at peak times and to attend networking events, therefore this role requires an individual who is flexible to adapt to the business requirements. Excellent fluency in English is required, Arabic is not essential however would be advantageous.
