Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Coordinated Permit To Work / eCPW approvals with relevant Permit Authority.
• Coordinated Permit To Work / eCPW approvals with relevant Permit Authority.
• Coordination with authorities for clarification of requirements.
• Act as Focal Point for all PTWs.
• Assure project compliance with Permit-To-Work system.
• Prepare and participate with daily/weekly activity-planning meeting.
• Review and advice on SIMOPS issues to Construction Management Team.
• Keeping update and circulate list of next weeks planned work activities.
• Reviews hazards and controls, Permit Risk classification and JSA /MSRA done by Permit Applicant and modifies or advises to modify where required.
• Identify ways to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of planning execution of the specific work in the permit.
• Supervise and maintain record of ongoing permits for project reference and record.
• Perform spot-checks routine audits during the execution of activities.
• Conduct site inspections, particularly high risk activities that should be checked daily for adherence to PTW requirements.

• Inspection/Audit records.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
• 10 years project experience on EPIC projects, including both greenfields and brownfields projects.
• Candidate shall have previously directly coordinated Permit To Work / eCPW approvals with relevant Permit Authority during all phases of EPIC including construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
• Candidate shall have previous construction experience, preferably over multiple disciplines.
• Experience with QP Refinery and MIC eCPW system is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory and proficiency in Arabic is desirable.
