Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

- Reporting directly to the Resident Engineer
- Primarily responsible for the provision of the construction services of the planning aspects
- Monitor the planning and project controlling works for conformance with project procedures
- Follow up of contractors daily and weekly reports
- Follow up of contractors three week look ahead submission
- Prepare and finalise the weekly progress report submission and the weekly quantity report to client
- Liaise and coordinate with the contractor and the client
- Attend all necessary meeting with the contractor and the client
- Review and analyse the contractors claims and prepare recommendations reports
- Primavera Schedule tracking for progress updates and to verify the accuracy and for various reporting purposes

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Primavera (P6 or Primavera Contract Management) working experience and certification
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience, three (3) years of which should be in a similar role with engineering consultancy or project management consultancy.
- Three (3) years' GCC experience
