Planning Engineer

Tender Stage:
- Work within tender team as part of the planning function
- Assist in the preparation of well-engineered sub-programmes, which add to the tender chances of success.
- Assess tender temporary works requirements and value engineering solutions.
- Assess tender major quantities and assess errors/discrepancies.
- Support the presentation of programme philosophy and tender strategy advantages at review stage
- Support Senior Planning Engineer at client presentations

Contract Stage:
- Prepare and or develop from tender programme, well-engineered contract programmes, which contribute to successful project outcome in terms of time and cost.
- Prepare monitoring systems and monitor contract progress.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for submission with monthly report and present at monthly progress meetings with Client.
- Prepare compensation event programmes and narratives, which facilitate successful compensation event resolution.
- Adherence to Skanska policies and procedures

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Required
- Understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications.
- Understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring.
- Understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning/programming.
- Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements.

Planning and programming civil engineering works at Tender and Construction stage.
- Monitoring progress during construction, re-programming if required.
- Preparation of submission documents.
- Preparation of compensation event programmes and narrative.
- Presentation/dissemination of planning/programming philosophy

The new company will continue to build ERES projects and at the same time build SAK Holding Group future projects capitalizing on five decades of experience in the contracting business.
