Planning Manager - Doha, Qatar

Responsible for directing the long-range planning and development program to ensure the best use of organization resources in defining and planning goals, objectives and programs for the achievement of organization and growth profitability. Directs and communicates results of studies to assess the organization performance against plans.

Responsible for the execution of assigned work within this discipline; meet the Company's contractual obligations and the clients needs and expectations on time, first time, within budget. Adhere to Company Quality Management System, HSE requirements policies and procedures. Establishes Project Work Break Down Structure (WBS), Project Control Strategy, Master Schedule, and Action Plan for Planning deliverable issuance.

Prepares and issues Project Control Procedure (project Specific). Reviews and evaluates the effectiveness and appropriateness of planning and scheduling information collected from the project team or contractor and advises of significant exceptions to proposes and approved conditions and recommends corrective actions.

Manage project schedule analysis and studies problem areas for the determination of criticality of schedule activities and develops alternatives for schedule improvement. Take ownership of the planning function and ensures integrity of the data being processed. Manages the preparation of base lined budgets and schedules in conjunction with project team members and project management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in technical field, business, or related area or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred 8 years' experience in Planning, 4 years in management/lead experience preferred. AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) preferred; NEPA/CEQA (National Environment Policy Act/California Environmental Quality Act) preferred.

Visa will be required for Qatar.
