Job description / Role
Our client is a large, well known, international Consultancy with over 12,000 staff operating throughout the world.
The Doha office now requires a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join the busy and rapidly expanding team.
You will have excellent organization skills and be effective at time management; prioritizing workload for self and team in order to meet tight deadlines. With excellent communication skill you will be a knowledgeable, confident team player and problem solver.
The accountabilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Managing all aspects of a portfolio in conjunction with the Associate Director.
- Motivating and leading teams of building services engineers
- Attending meetings, presenting to clients, assisting planning and running projects
- Ensuring all QA policies are adhered to
- Agreeing design philosophy / design fundamentals
- Coordination with other design team members including architects and structural engineers
Requirements
Applicants will have a minimum of 10 years experience and demonstrate a proven track record in building services design with different types of buildings including high rise, commercial and residential.
Some experience on metros/metro stations would be beneficial.
Applicants must be degree qualified and possess GCC region experience.
