Procurement Executive - Interior Fit-out

We are seeking a highly skilled Fit out Procurement Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for fit out projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
• Analyse market trends and leverage industry knowledge to identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
• Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
• Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and drive supplier development.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover to minimize holding costs.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in procurement.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Supervise procurement activities for timely & accurate purchase, delivery and payment.
• Supervise approved PO submission to concerned suppliers/ sub-contractors.
• Liaise with accounts for advance payment and payment transfer details of suppliers.
• Supervise provision of all required shipping documents (COO, B/L, Invoice and packing list) for shipment dispatch.
• Oversee tracking of purchased goods and services during the entire procurement cycle.
• Responsible for all communication with project team through procurement status reports.
• Seek shipping/ freight forwarding companies from supplying countries & negotiate rates / fees etc.
• Supervise PO process in ERP; monitor & follow up on pending approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPPM would be an advantage.
• Minimum 08 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management roles, preferably in a fit-out industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure cost-effective deals without compromising quality
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
