Job description / Role
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with staff regarding purchases and creating requests for quotations
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and gain necessary approvals
- Evaluate quotations for price, quality and lead time and make recommendations to Procurement Coordinator
- Communicate with managers regarding future purchases and seeking approval for purchase
- Create contracts and services agreements in a timely manner
- Liaise with commercial team regarding legal terms and conditions
- Enter and manage invoices by checking with the contract and liaising with suppliers/ accounts. Ensuring accurate data entry for this information.
- Source new suppliers when necessary
- File contracts and send contracts to suppliers & head office. Files to be accurate and up to date at all times.
- Complete credit application forms and submit to accounts
- Expedite local, interstate and international orders and communicate with quality department.
- Liaise with Acciona Freight Forwarding for international deliveries
- Liaising with customs agent and other freight companies for international deliveries
- Update and manage procurement finance database and report daily to procurement team in Spain.

- Participate in consultation and communication of work health & safety matters with their supervisors and other workers.
- Use all safety devices and equipment correctly and not to render them inoperative or willfully damage them.
Key result area
- Manage procurement file are accurate and up to date.
- Negotiate the best possible price and lead time for Acciona Agua
- Ensure supplier invoices are accurate in accordance with subcontract
- Expedite packages on time
- Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities outlined in ACCIONA Agua’s Integrated Management System.
Requirements
- Experience working in the procurement/ logistics/ distribution industry.
- Demonstrated capacity to work both autonomously and within the team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to enthusiastically adapt and respond quickly to rapidly changing demands within an organisation
- Able to prioritize and work autonomously on tasks
- Expertise in MS Office and other job related software
