Job description / Role

Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator - Qatar Airways - Doha

In this role you will effectively manage the Supply Chain and ensure that there are no operational disruptions and by limiting the operational cost by ensuring that there is a flawless supply chain. You will ensure all systems are updated i.e. Inventory Management system (IMS), Halo Asset Tracking System (HATS) and Facilities Management System (FMS)

You will be creating item codes in the Oracle System and ensuring all necessary steps and codes are applied as per QR guidelines. You will be raising Purchase Enquiry (PE) requests for initiating RFQ process with Procurement Department for new requirements. You will follow up with suppliers/vendors on delivery schedules.

You will ensure that process are complete right from Purchase Enquiry (PE) to Purchase Receipt (PR) – Purchase Order (PO) – Receipt of goods (DN, GRN) – Unique identification Number (UIN) and ensure all UIN’s are tagged and mapped in the HATS. You will ensure all details are accurately stated on Purchase requests as originally requested and tally the same with details noted on Purchase Orders and distribute PO’s to relevant stakeholders. You will also gather information and apply for CMC as deemed necessary.

Requirements

You should either have a vocational higher secondary or trade qualification with minimum 4 years of job related experience. Experience in coordination ideally in Procurement & Supply Chain management with minimum of one year of Middle East work experience is preferred.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills with good proficiency in written and spoken English and a team player.
