Programme Director

Job description / Role

Senior Client Side role to take a lead role on a major infrastructure capital project within the transportation sector. The role will suit an experienced director or manager of highly complex transport infrastructure projects. The role will be a senior management but hands on role managing this multi-faceted construction programme.

Requirements

You will be a team player with the ability to manage others, be an exceptional multitasker and have natural time management skills. You must be able to use your own initiative, be degree qualified and be fluent in written and spoken English.

* Degree Qualified - 20 years post graduate experience
* Chartered by a recognised professional body
* Extensive Capital Programme Management experience (Mega Construction Programme)
* Experience in Project Management and Construction Management and the delivery of complex projects
* Used to implementing Programme Controls methods to ensure successful management of the project.
* Able to effectively manage and interpret stakeholder information with analysis focused on identifying and mitigating conflicts
* Manage the development and maintenance of a master programme schedule
* Proven track record in Facilitating and leading the development and maintenance of an integrated schedule of the logistical requirements
* Proven team manager - managing senior level staff
* Excellent at managing client relationships
* Strong report writing and presentation skill set
* Must have worked on major Programmes from Design Phase to completion
* Strong proven track record with major Programme Management consultant or Client side delivering mega programmes.
