Project Controls Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is a large International Contractor with a heavy presence in the Middle East. They have live landmark jobs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Controls Manager for a 500m Dhs infrastructure project in Qatar.

This person will manage a team of 5 people and they will in turn report in to the Project Director.

Duties / responsibilities that come with the role are;
- Provide project control expertise
- Lead the project planning and reporting
- Establish reporting criteria for weekly project status reports
- Coordinate project planning, financial and execution systems
- Ensure business standard are maintained
- Effectively manage project progress according to plan
- Establish risk management protocols and procedures
- Asses risk occurrence.

Requirements

- Contracting background
- Infrastructure experience within roads, highways, tunnels, bridges
- Project management experience beneficial
- Middle east experience preferred
- Strong communicator
- Experience managing teams
- Able to demonstrate good stints at previous employers
