Job description / Role
Ignite is working with a leading international Engineering consultancy, they have offices all over the world and looking to add a Project Director in Qatar for a mixed-use development. The role is to lead the project and be hands on with the Project Management for the development.
• This role is is only open to candidates with strong delivery experience within the Middle East and shortlisted candidates will come from a PMC/Engineering Consultancy background.(No Main Contractor background)
Requirements
Required Qualification:
• BSc/BEng in civil or Architecture engineering; chartered Engineer from recognized professional body is preferable.
Required Experience:
20 + years overall postgraduate experience , a minimum of 5 years in the GCC, with the last 4/5 years as a Project Manager/Project Director with the following:
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to identify potential problems and be able to successfully and productively resolve problems or propose solutions
• Ability to demonstrate time management skills, and alignments of projects objectives
• Sound Knowledge of Works Programme build up, components, critical path review & analysis
• Analytical & numerate skills
• Team building, ability to motivate and to work well within large team and show leadership skills.
• Experience in Microsoft applications.
• Very good reporting skills.
• Having worked in reputable projects during the Construction phase to completion.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other project management’s team members
