Job description / Role
Our client are a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy who have been operating in Qatar since 2006.
They have recently secured several tower projects in the Pearl and are actively seeking a skilled Project Director to handle these projects. The build time is 40 months and the contract has only recently been signed.
The Project Director will have to interface with the client, their consultants and many other stakeholders as part of the role for this mega construction project valued upwards of 1billion.
This is exciting opportunity to take a lead role on a major Construction Project. This role is a Senior Role and key part of the organizations senior management team.
A Project Director or an experienced Senior Project Manager keen to take the next step with high rise experience. The successful candidate will have completed mega projects from beginning to end. You will be capable of dealing with complex construction projects that are also highly political and have excellent client facing skills. The ideal background will be someone that has worked with a major international consultants with major project experience.
Requirements
- Degree Qualified
- Minimum 15 years project experience
- Major new build mega project experience - values in excess of 100million
- Project Director experience for major multi-faceted construction projects ( High Rise)
- Must have excellent stakeholder interface experience and be used to working in conjunction with international consultants
- Middle East experience ideal
- Stable track record of completing projects from beginning to end
You will be a team player with the ability to manage others, be an exceptional multi-tasker and have natural time management skills. You will have excellent client and contractor management skills. You must be able to use your own initiative, be degree qualified with at least 15 years experience and be fluent in written and spoken English.
