Job description / Role
Our client is a leading European contractor who have recently been awarded a major contract for the construction of a new economic zone in Doha, Qatar.
The site is around 4.1km square and has a total project value of around $450 million.
The role will involve working along side the government client, project management consultancy and other joint venture parties to ensure that the project is completed on time, to budget and as per the clients wishes.
Requirements
Candidates must have a degree in engineering or a construction related field and must have at least 20 years experience in the construction industry.
Candidates should have at least 10 years experience in senior management roles and must have worked on major city, economic zone or major infrastructure works before with a value of at least $400 million.
Candidates must have a detailed experience of projects involving roads, highways, drainage, utilities, infrastructure and buildings.
